How information submitted through Skid to Trailer’s website forms is used.
Information you provide
When you submit a contact or freight quote form, we may collect information such as your name, company, email address, telephone number, shipment origin and destination, freight details and the message you provide.
How the information is used
Submitted information is used to respond to inquiries, review shipment requirements, prepare or coordinate freight quotations, communicate about requested services and improve the website experience.
Website and campaign information
The quote system may record the page used to submit the form, referring page and campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium and campaign. This information is used to understand how customers find the website and which marketing sources generate inquiries.
Storage
In Phase 1, website inquiry information is transmitted to a Google Apps Script endpoint and stored in a Google Sheet controlled by Skid to Trailer. Access to that Sheet should be limited to authorized business users.
Do not submit sensitive information
Do not include passwords, payment-card information, government identification numbers or other highly sensitive personal information in the website forms.
Retention and requests
Business inquiry records should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for customer service, quoting, operational follow-up, legal or accounting requirements. Contact Skid to Trailer through the website if you need to request access to or correction of information you submitted.
Updates
This notice may be updated as the website, analytics, advertising or backend systems evolve.
